Product description

Tasting Notes:

Deep color with a purple tinge, beautifully smooth tanins. Great aromatic intensity in the bouquet and on the palate, with notes of fresh red berries. Fresh and flavorful finish.

-Château Cap de Faugères is located in the Côtes de Castillon with its vineyards directly on the St. Emilion border and adjoining those of the St. Emilion Grand Cru, Château Faugères. Both properties are owned by Corinne and Peby Guissez, with Cap de Faugères producing wine that is the equal of many St. Emilion Grand Crus. “An attractive, elegant dark ruby/purple wine with notes of blackberry, black cherry and a touch of new oak, this 2012 Cap de Faugeres is spicy, medium-bodied, and nicely concentrated, with enticing texture. Drink it over the next 5-10 years.”
