Clear garnet red color with delicate orange highlights. It is ethereal, pleasant, intense and persistent, delicately spicy with hints of florals and cooked fruit. The flavor is dry, full, robust, charming, with soft tannins and nice freshness.
-Deciding to give the property a new name, the Dogliani brothers took their inspiration from the vineyard where the estate headquarters are located. Thus it was that the new winery, set amidst the gentle contours of the Batasiolo vineyard, came to be called “Beni di Batasiolo”.
"The 2010 Barbaresco shows a garnet hue on the rim and offers subdued tones of forest floor, autumnal leaves, licorice, cassis and dried cherries. It shows moderate layering and complexity and delivers a more immediate style. Anticipated maturity: 2013-2018."
