Forks & Corks 2017: "Gold Award"
The pale yellow hue of the wine lights up with a bright sheen and golden glints. It boasts a clean bouquet combining the delicate aromas of white flowers with exotic fruit. It is harmonious and full-bodied in the mouth, rich yet fresh.
We are fully committed to environmentally-friendly sustainable agriculture, with our main focus firmly on the terroir. Our cultivation methods are traditional and fully ecological: rather than using chemical fertilisers and weed killers, we work the soil with machines and put in a great amount of manual labour at each stage of the vines’ growth cycle.
"I absolutely loved their 2015 Châteauneuf du Pape La Crau de Ma Mère Blanc, which is made from 40% Grenache, 30% Clairette, 20% Roussanne and the rest Bourboulenc. Coming all from the clay and more limestone soils (which are great for white varieties) of the Montpertuis lieu-dit, this beauty has fabulous purity and freshness, with crisp pineapple, citrus blossom, flowers and hints of honeysuckle aromas and flavors. It builds on the palate, has good acidity and a clean finish. Drink it anytime over the coming 2-3 years."
