Fruity nose of currants, sliced strawberries, oranges and herbs. Lovely freshness throughout with a medium body, powdery tannins and juicy finish.

The 2021 Château Cap de Faugères is a classic wine from this estate that offers fruit and texture. Coming from a larger 46-hectare vineyard and a blend of 85% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc, and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, it reveals a pretty perfume of blue fruits, ripe cherries, liquid violets, and a touch of chocolate. This carries to a medium-bodied, round, fleshy Castillon with good depth as well as length. Yields here were a devastating 12.5 hectoliters per hectare, but it will certainly be a charming 2021 that offers plenty of pleasure
