The palate is medium-bodied, supple and beautifully balanced, with a concentrated core of cherry and darker berries supported by fresh acidity and a fine, persistent web of tannins. The finish is long, earthy and savory, with lingering fruit, spice and mineral character. Wine Spectator recommends drinking it 2027–2042, suggesting this is a wine with considerable upside from additional bottle age.
