This affinity with nature is at the heart of the Talis philosophy, as is its commitment to maintaining the traditions of local viticulture and passing on the experience and knowledge of generations of Friulian winemakers. Indeed, it is this synergy of nature and experience that enables Talis to create its unique wines.
This corner of Friuli is blessed by a sea breeze that blows across the land from daylight to dusk and by an easterly wind that punctually announces its presence at nightfall. These climatic conditions are ideal for producing healthy vines and fragrant fruit and these characteristics are complimented by the harmonious equilibrium that has developed over the years with the land that nurtures them.
Thanks to the expertise employed in the vineyards, there is minimal intervention in the wine cellar. The fermentation process is achieved using traditional methods complimented by the most advanced oenological knowledge. Vinification is carried out in steel, wood and cement vats at controlled temperatures. The essences released by the wood further enhance the fragrance and flavour of the wine, recapturing the taste and evoking the history and memories of the wine produced in these hills.
