A sexy and lush 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon The Sisters offers up plenty of graphite, blueberry, black raspberry fruit, supple tannins and low acidity. The wine is lush, round and juicy and best drunk over the next 10-12 years.

The supple mouth feel and red-fruit core of the 2013 The Sisters makes it incredibly approachable early. The color of this wine is a translucent deep garnet and aromas of rose oil, lavender, and mint emanate from the glass. On the palate the wine is very round and fully reminiscent of a soft flower petal in feel and shape. Notes of dark cherry, river stone, and jasmine are finely layered and framed by light tannin profile that provides just the right amount of structure. This wine should be showing well for the next 5-7 years.

The Sisters began in 2000 as a project to create a wine from the youngest of our estate grown vines and has evolved into a wine that is quintessential Cabernet Sauvignon. The Sisters is the more forward of our wines with a red fruit driven palate. While it is a wine that one can enjoy immediately upon release it is thrilling to see the evolution each vintage takes on in the cellar.
