“The 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon spends 19 months in new and used French oak. It has a well-defined bouquet with dusky red fruit intermingling with cocoa and dark chocolate - perhaps just a little old-fashioned in style but still attractive. The palate is medium-bodied and fleshy with chocolate-tinged, slightly spicy red fruit and an innocuous, easy-drinking finish. Fine.”
“2011 was one of those challenging years where agility was needed to overcome the challenges presented by Mother Nature. Despite small yields and an unseasonably cool growing season, our growers and their superb vineyard sites supplied the quality fruit necessary for us to craft a silky, fruit-forward Cabernet Sauvignon..” -Winemaker Rob Davis -Jordan Vineyard & Winery has been dedicated to Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay and hospitality since it was founded in 1972 by Tom and Sally Jordan.
