Bright, pale yellow. Sweet peach and nectarine aromas are joined by tangerine and lemon nuances. Rich, tactile and smooth, with nearly exotic stone fruit flavors accented by orange zest. Builds nicely toward the back, finishing classically dry and persistent.
A fifth-generation vigneron, Henri Boillot began his education at his family’s winery, then left to found his own négociant house, where he honed his skills and developed his own personal style. He later returned home to take over the reins of the family estate, but he continued his négociant business, where he does all vineyard work and harvesting himself. His meticulous, uncompromising style has earned him a place in the top echelon of producers in this elite region. Today he is joined by his son, Guillaume, who makes the red wines while Henri makes the whites.
