The grapes for this seductive Sauvignon are sourced from eight different vineyards in the Coastal region, with all the sites having been selected for the natural cooling effect gained from their close proximity to the ocean as well as other outstanding terroir characteristics. Reductive treatment from vineyard to bottling captures the unique varietal flavours. The wine undergoes three months of full lees contact after alcoholic fermentation. On the nose you’ll be greeted by whiffs of ripe figs, lemongrass and capsicum, while the palate is redolent of tropical fruit, nettles and cut grass. This versatile wine sports crisp lively acidity and a dusty pebble finish.
