Product description

It has a wonderful polished nose, clean flavors and an impressive amount of zip. It is not to sweet, but has enough richness and balance to enjoy by itself. A great one for your next party! François Montand, descendant of a long line of winemakers, grew up on his family's vineyard in Champagne. In the early 1940s, during the Second World War, François Montand chose to leave his native Champagne for the Jura. Thanks to his expertise from Champagne, he produced sparkling wines rich in flavour made according to the traditional bottle double fermentation method.

François Montand is a true-value Blanc de Blancs sparkling wine made in a brut style. Crafted from the perfect blend of two European varietals, Ugni Blanc from France and Airen from Spain, each offers basic characteristics that complement each other to make an outstanding sparkling wine. Ugni Blanc, also known as Trebbiano, is planted throughout the world and is known for producing neutral wines that are high in acids with a medium alcohol level. Airen, Spain's most widely planted grape varietal, produces wines that are light, crisp, fruity and slightly aromatic.
