AG 90 : A merlot that showed a bit of plushness up front, but then more of a woody/herbal character that I just don't get out of Cali merlot. It was refreshing, with minimal tannin, and good acidity.
TA 91 : The color is clear and bright, with a hint of green. The nose is clean and fresh with expressive granadilla, grapefruit, gooseberry, and black currant characteristics. It has a lovely creamy texture; the result of the higher Semillon portion.
A truly convivial wine. Owing to the careful blending of various terroirs, the result is a wine of great charm. It has a lovely raspberry colour and a brilliant hue. The nose is both refined and intense, with notes of violet, peony and red fruit syrup.
Light ruby color, medium-bodied; lifted aromas of red berries and pretty, perfume-like floral notes are joined on the palate by tart red fruit, white pepper, and brown spice.
Aromas of blackberry, blueberry and a hint of cinnamon rounding out with seductive oak notes. Full-bodied wine that displays solid structure and complexity, exhibiting dark red fruit and a lingering finish.
WE 90 : Bright, fruity, refreshing style with aromas of pear layered over a light citrus backbone and complemented by honeydew and green apple.
Wild fermented. Light-medium straw with a slight shimmer. Orange peel, candied ginger, flint, lychee nose. Medium acidity, green papaya, lime zest, nectarine, lychee, ginger. Not a feel of residual sugar but it had a nice sweetness in the mouth.
Richness at a fair price, starting with lush aromas of black cherry, caramel and mocha cream. The palate starts soft and inviting, with more cherry and caramel, then firms up with tighter tannins and penetrating acidity.
JS 91 : Brilliant yellow-gold. Real melange of fresh fruit in the nose. Lemon, cream, a hint of lanolin. Bright fruit in the mouth. Really fine balance of mineral, fruit and acidity. Lively and juicy.
Yellow fruits, herbs and spices and box wood in the bouquet. On the palate juicy white fruits, soft citrus, peach, minerals and flowers. Good acidity. Beautiful wine.
Aromas of cherry, dusty plum, cassis, cola, eucalyptus and cocoa powder in the glass. This is a fruit forward wine with nice balance and flavors of red cherry, cassis, blackberry, plum, dark fruits and dark chocolate.
Ruby red, medium bodied. Open, ripe, smooth, integrated. Not a vanilla fruit bomb style. Rather soft and well proportioned. Good purity at its price
WS 90 : Balanced, featuring bright cherry and raspberry fruit flavors, with light flourishes of earth and iron, all supported by well-integrated tannins. Sangiovese, Canaiolo and Merlot.
JS 94 : This was produced with fruit from the four districts in Luján de Cuyo, and it was produced in a traditional way: aged in oak but preserving the varietal fruit and the round tannins, with a round palate and finesse.
Fresh notes of ripe citrus and stone fruit flavours complimented by enchanting hints of butterscotch, honey and praline, this unapologetically fun and utterly captivating
Plenty of blackberry, blueberry, and briary boysenberry fruit, a full-bodied mouthfeel, a nice, judicious use of toasty oak, and a lavish, even luxurious mouthfeel and finish.
WE 90 : Earthy characteristics of mineral and forest floor. Rich notes of berry and clove are evident on the nose and enhanced by spicy tannins. The finish is long and plush with a slight hints of vanilla and spice.
Bing cherry, fig, strawberry jam and a hint of baking spice. He is larger-than-life, medium in body and showcases flavors of bright red fruits, toasted hazelnut and clove with a fruit-forward, lingering finish.
