Lisa Brown-Perrotti 87 Points

The 2022 La Fleur de Bouard is deep garnet-purple in color. Notes of cedar chest, baked plums, and dried herbs lead on the nose, followed by wafts of tobacco and dusty soil. The medium to full-bodied palate is firm, chewy, and rugged, with a spicy finish.

James Suckling 93 Points

This layered and juicy red has notes of currants, blueberries, dried flowers and licorice, as well as crushed stones. It’s medium- to full-bodied with very fine, polished tannins. Long and delicious already. Drink from 2026.

Jeb Dunnuck 91 Points

The 2022 Château La Fleur De Boüard is a more elegant, pretty wine in the vintage that still brings plenty of fruit and texture. Ripe black cherries, loamy earth, leather, and spicy, incense-like notes all define the aromatics, and it's medium-bodied on the palate, with fine, polished tannins, good balance, and outstanding length. It picks up weight and depth with time in the glass and is perfect for drinking over the coming 10-15 years.
