92pts James Suckling
A rich, layered red with blackberry, stone and plush, velvety tannins. Medium body. Impressive for this estate.
91pts Wine Advocate
Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2020 Cuvée Compostelle rolls out of the glass with pretty, open-knit scents of fresh raspberries, black cherries and violets, plus touches of cedar, cinnamon toast and tilled soil. The medium-bodied palate is elegantly styled and refreshing with red berry and spicy flavors, finishing fragrant.
Plenty of silky well-textured brambled fruit that is carefully placed and gently extracted. It stays within its lines and delivers an extremely enjoyable wine. 30% new oak.
