The grapes for this wine come from the vineyards located within the municipality of the town of
Gavi, the classic and most vocated Gavi DOCG production area. Gently sloping, South, South West
and South East facing hill set in a previleged position between the Ligurian Sea and Appenines.
Temperature swings (hot and dry days and cool nights) is a determinant factor for greater flavor
complexity. Meanwile calcareous marl soil gives this wine a pleasant mineral crispiness. Thanks to
these characteristics, Gavi del Comune di Gavi Manenti has a good conservation in time and can be
enjoyed quite fresh and fruity even after 10 years if kept in a proper manner.
