Consensus: 93–94 points, and a very successful 2022. The critics converge on a wine that is rich and concentrated but not clumsy, with the Three Palms signature of dark/red fruit, cocoa, savory spice, graphite/rocky minerality and substantial tannins.

It's worth noting that 2022 was a challenging Napa vintage, which makes Dunnuck's assessment particularly interesting: he calls this a “clear success” and expects it to age for at least 10 years.

The wine is 92% Merlot, 7% Cabernet Sauvignon and 1% Cabernet Franc, from estate fruit, and was aged 18 months in French oak, 75% new.
