Bruised blackberry brushes up against black raspberry on the nose and is enhanced by additional aromas of fresh strawberry and boysenberry skin. The palate is soft with floral tinges that lift black fruit that yearns to express itself on the finish that is lifted with slightly velvety tannins. This wine would pair beautifully with risotto, pasta dishes and especially pesto.
