Pairings

Excellent with dessert, or on its own as a surprising meditation wine, fresh and harmonious. The combination with cheeses such as Gorgonzola or Castelmagno is notable.

History

The Pelassa Winery was founded in the Roero region in 1960.

Here Mario Pelassa, together with his wife Maria Teresa Viglione, founded the family business, passing their knowledge onto the next generation.

Today, Davide and Daniele have transformed it into a modern business, which has long competed on the national and international market.

For three generations we have been involved in the production of high quality wines, with one eye on tradition and the other on the authenticity of the flavours. Our vines are cultivated with passion and respect for nature, and each bottle tells our story and our experience.

An evocative symbolism.

Mulberry: this is the tree that was once planted to mark the boundary between properties. A metaphor for solidity and longevity.

“We looked after it like a child, which is why we also moved it to the new winery”.

The labels: or rather, stories that accompany the tasting.

Well, I do not drink Wine, But I was handed a bottle of your wine, I was the Tester
That made my night. It was Sooo good,
They did not get their bottle back. I wish I had another bottle.
