Tasting Notes:
This powerful, deeply colored wine has notes of plums, blackberries, dark-cherry liqueur, with touches of licorice and star anise. The mid-palate is heavy and dense with dark fruits and big tannins that broaden into a velvety finish. This wine can be cellared for 10+ years.
Winemaker Notes:
2023 was an exceptional year in Napa Valley. All the fruit we brought in from our Estate Vineyard spoke to us and we knew we really had something special. Petit Verdot is often used in lending color and richness to red blends. While trialing our final blends of the vintage and we kept coming back to the idea of bottling a stand alone Petit Verdot. Just a 5 barrels bottling get yours before it's gone. We suggest decanting this wine for at least an hour as the oxygen will allow the nose to open and the texture to soften.
