A slew of lemon-zest and tarte-au-citron character make this generous and juicy pinot bianco a very typical example of all that’s good about the wines of this grape from the Alto Adige region. Bold and crisp finish.

A good value with 25,000 bottles made, the 2021 Alto Adige Pinot Bianco is luminous and bright with subtle aromas of apple, white peach and honeydew melon. There is a hint of crushed stone. Pinot Bianco often downplays its aromas, as is the case here in a wine that only sees stainless steel, but it always shows greater contouring and firmness in terms of texture. The wine's medium-bodied mouthfeel would work next to creamy risotto with Parmigiano cheese. Fruit comes from higher elevations with loose limestone soils at 400 to 600 meters above sea level, compared to the Pinot Grigio. Best After 2022
