Five parcels covering 2ha in the village of Chavignol combine to make the 2022 Satellite. There’s a richness of fruit and plenty of concentration here with a sense of creaminess. It retains a line of acidity and mineral tension through its core, creating a long finish. The 2022 needs to digest its wood (there was some new oak involved), but when it does, boy, you will like this.
