On the nose, sweet and tart blueberries and blackberries waft above savory, weightier notes of dark chocolate, soil and pepper. Those notes all reappear on the palate, as the berries oscillate between macerated and barely ripe around a backbone of salted dark chocolate, before a hot, peppery finish.
