A pale silver-pink in color with aromas of raspberries cherries & a few whiffs of minerality. Fine in the mouth, with subtle red berry flavors enlivened by bright acids. Brisk on the palate, showing hints of oyster shell & fresh lavender.
Nose of lemon, quince, flinty minerality, a touch of bread dough and a top-note of citrus zest. Crisp, medium-full and nicely soil-driven, good core, frothy mousse and a long, bright, bouncy finish.
WS 91 : The Roederer Estate Brut is crisp and elegant with complex pear, spice and hazelnut flavors. It is fresh and lightly fruity with great finesse and depth of flavor.
