White Blend, Domaine de Pouy, Cotes du Gascogne, FR, 2023

A ridiculous value in white wine from the Cote de Gascogne in the southwest region of France. The blend of 35% Gros Manseng, 25% Ugni Blanc, 25% Colombard, 15% Sauvignon Blanc has a chalky citrus quality with lime zest and sweet grass. The wines scream freshness with tart green apples, melons and citrus blossoms. A little weight from the Gross Manning and high acid from the Ugni Blanc make this a delicious sipper.
