The wine is barrel aged in French and American oak resulting in a rich, opulent, velvety Merlot. This full-bodied wine has tremendous aging potential and may be cellared for up to one decade.
Dried herbs and a dusting of cocoa powder fall upon the core of dark fruits on the nose. The palate is fresh and linear with good structure and tension. Ripe dark currants mingle with blackberry compote, chocolate cake and minerals on the palate.
