Very typical perfumed nose, much more intense than the preceding wines. Much richer fruit. The mid- palate is very luscious with strong acids & some orange peel accents. It has power but isn’t too heavy. Long, high acid & persistent fruit on the finish.
Puligny-Montrachet is a village in the Côte de Beaune, located in the area that produces the best white wines in Burgundy: the Golden Triangle, bounded by the villages of Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet and Chassagne-Montrachet.
The wines are very aromatic with notes of yellow fruits mingling with flower hints. The palate is ample and full-bodied. They combine generosity, freshness, and finesse, with a climate that enhances the terroirs without overpowering them.
