Empress 1908 Elderflower Rose Gin — Professional Ratings

• USA Spirits Ratings — 90 points, Gold Medal (2024): Aromas of rose petals and candied cherry lead to a firm cherry-pit and Turkish Delight palate, finishing with clean floral notes, spice and juniper.
• Tastings — 88 points, Silver Medal (2024): Floral and spicy, with lavender, raspberry, rose water, black pepper, citrus and fennel. Crisp, dry and lightly floral; particularly suited to cocktails.
• Bartender Spirits Awards — 88 points, Silver Medal (2024): Rose and anise on the nose, with a floral, earthy palate that integrates nicely with the underlying gin character.
• Drinkhacker — A- (2026): A very dry, botanical-driven gin showing burnt orange peel, cinnamon, pine, rose petals, lavender, black pepper and elderflower. The reviewer particularly enjoyed it over ice or in a Gin & Tonic.

Summary: Professional ratings range from 88–90 points, with a 90-point Gold Medal from USA Spirits Ratings. The consensus is a dry, floral and botanical gin, balancing rose and elderflower with juniper, spice, citrus and pepper rather than being overtly sweet.
