Proceeds help support restoration of natural habitats in Portugal’s Greater Côa Valley. The blend is 40% Touriga Franca, 30% Tinta Roriz and 30% Tinta Barroca, sourced primarily from Cima Corgo and Douro Superior.

Nose: Ripe cherry, red plum and blackberry with violet, rock rose, Mediterranean herbs, cocoa and subtle spice.
Palate: Medium-to-full bodied but supple, with juicy red and dark fruit, crisp acidity and spicy tannins. Brief aging in used 400-liter oak barrels adds subtle complexity without masking the fruit.
Finish: Fresh and persistent, with cherry, plum, violet, herbs and gentle spice.

This is a particularly compelling value-driven Douro red. It delivers the dark fruit and structure associated with the region without becoming heavy, while Touriga Franca provides floral lift and the cooler 2021 vintage contributes freshness.
