The 2018 is a gorgeous wine. It is emphasizes fruit density and power, while the savory notes that are typical of this site are nearly buried. Blueberry, tobacco, licorice, smoke, incense and leather open with some coaxing.
Matured for 12 years in American and European Oak Sherry casks before finishing in Amontillado casks for a distinctively rich and refined depth of flavor.
