Hidden gem of Burgundy, François Carillon's Bourgogne Aligoté 2022 is a refreshing & lively white wine. Made from the Aligoté grape, this wine boasts a crisp acidity & a vibrant palate of citrus, green apple, & a subtle minerality.
The grapes for this wine come from a small parcel of 6 acres in the village of Puligny-Montrachet, resulting in wines of exceptional quality. The same viticulture and vinification methods are applied for all the wines from the Domaine.
Winemaker Notes
From a south-facing single-vineyard in the commune of Vaulicheres, east of Chablis. Two thirds of the fruit is barrel-fermented and aged, the remaining fruit is in tank.
