Winemaker Notes
From a single-vineyard just next to 1er Cru Vaulorent, the north facing side of the Grand Cru hill, named Des Couverts. The vineyard lies in a cool corridor and is typically the last wine to be harvested.
Nose offers a rich bouquet of caramel and vanilla layered on herbal & floral notes. The mouthfeel starts oily but finishes dry. On the palate you are treated to sweet caramel, vanilla, dusted in floral notes, finishing with oak & a lingering spiciness.

The bourbon has an intense aroma of sweet vanilla, cedar and oak. The aroma yields to notes of spicy rye, vanilla and maple syrup, with hints of cherry. The slightly salty finish is long and smooth, with continued vanilla notes.
