The 2023 Hamilton Russell Pinot Noir is characterized by ripe red fruit, including raspberries and cherries, with subtle earthy and spicy notes.

Nose is elegant, a little closed, serious & nuanced. The wine has a medium to full body, & has some silky tannins and therefore a silky texture.
Raspberry-ripple aromas on the nose, very candied and sweet. Furry tannins, fine acidic lift and spicy, savoury contrast on the finish. Fairly light for the appellation.
Pretty notes of spices, liquorice, white pepper, golden & purple. The aromas evolve towards precious woods & an ash side. Fresh & greedy attack. An explosion of violet & spices. Sustained & silky tannins. The presence of mourvèdre brings depth & freshness

The 2018 is a gorgeous wine. It is emphasizes fruit density and power, while the savory notes that are typical of this site are nearly buried. Blueberry, tobacco, licorice, smoke, incense and leather open with some coaxing.

NV13 is our biggest, most dramatic Cain Cuve to date. For this wine, enough richness and substance to overwhelm the inherent complexity of this beautiful wine, but the balance succeeds.Cain Cuve takes it one step furtherit is also a blend of two vintages.
